I have one. I remember being so frustrated with the landing gear I put it back in the box and there it has stayed. The grey paint job looks intriguing at first but when you have it in hand it just doesn't look right. I don't know if it's actually correct or not but in my mind it would have looked better in NMF.
I have one of these and although it looks intriguing the colour scheme according to Schiffer's 370th Fighter Group is incorrect and should be NMF. This model is one of the later series of models produced by Witty and comes with separate undercarriage and ordnance and while this is useful (it comes with a mix of one bomb, one drop tank and two rocket trees - these last items as far as I can discover were not used by the 370th on P38's in Europe)the undercarriage needs to be glued in place to work. Other than that the windscreen framing is incorrect and the guns do not have the correct stagger. All in all probably the weakest of the P38's produced by Witty and not a patch on the latest Corgi P38 release.
