This one just landed in my collection from the FlyingMule:
JC Wings Mikoyan MiG-29AS Fulcrum-C Slovak Air Force 1st Letka #0921, Sliac AB, Slovakia 2013 Item: JCW-72-MG29-002. Limited Edition: 600
In 2008, the Slovakian Ministry of Defence announced that all of its MiG-29 fighter jets would be converted to digital fractal camouflage, using a pattern developed by HyperStealth Biotechnology Corp. Digital Thunder camouflage pattern effectively conceals aircraft for ground, sea, overcast and blue sky. First used on military personnel uniforms, digital fractal camouflage patterns are increasingly being seen applied to military vehicles. The patterns are designed to fool the human brain into perceiving depth, creating a 3-D optical illusion to help break up the shape of the object being camouflaged.
I always liked Witty Wings' MiG-29 so I was glad that JC Wings took over. I always felt JC Wing's execution on models was much better than the predecessor. Yes there are a lot of little bits of pieces especially for the landing gear but once it's together it's a nice model.
