I don't have a good gauge on how well HM does their TBD research. I am glad there are no rudder stripes, or other potential major identifying markings that could dissuade Devastator fans from this release. Although, a model maker of USN 1942 planes should be aware of propeller tip colors. No guessing, check the photos. Don't rely on books or color profiles.
ANY VT-8 machine is worth considering. Waldron's will come, eventually.
Just picked this one up a week or so ago. Goes great with the HM dauntless as well the latest HM Avenger. The quality is right up there with HM on this model, a super piece. On display here with a picture of my great Uncle Stan who flew PBY's in WWII.
